We’ve Got the Power! The Government Rules in our Favor on Labor Charges

Earlier this year, our Coalition filed an unfair labor practice charge against Kaiser Permanente, because we knew Kaiser could not legally suspend National Agreement negotiations, nor force us to sign a new Partnership Agreement as a precondition to bargaining. 

Now, we just heard good news that the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) agrees with us that Kaiser broke the law!

According to the NLRB, it was illegal for Kaiser to refuse to bargain with us and unless we signed a new agreement first. We’ll share more details as we have them, but this victory pushes us closer to winning our BEST contract ever!

Bargaining Questions and Answers

Why aren’t we bargaining?

Kaiser walked away from the bargaining table on March 27, 2018, and hasn’t come back. Kaiser has a legalobligation to bargain with us, so we’ve filed charges withthe National Labor Relations Board.
